The buildingThe complex steps down the slope, which means entrances arrive on different levels of the same building. A glazed frontage faces the gorge, with the theatre and dining rooms set behind it. Interior galleries run the length of the site and connect the hotel tower with the public floors, so most of the walking between parts of the resort happens indoors.
Points to checkWhat a room looks out on depends on which side of the building it faces, so ask before confirming. The theatre keeps its own schedule and sells separately from the hotel. Traffic in the surrounding district is heavy in summer and parking is charged; check access routes ahead.

Points to checkRooms differ between the tower and the lower wing, so ask which one a booking covers. The theatre programme changes and is sold apart from a stay. Aircraft pass overhead on approach and the transit station is a short walk away, so plan for noise and for transfers.

Points to checkThe resort lies outside the town and public transport is limited, so plan on a car or a coach. Concert dates fill the hotel, and rooms for those weekends go early. Golf and spa are seasonal or booked apart from a stay, so ask what will be open.
